Was just going to suggest the same thing Madcap57 - only the flex fuel trucks truly need to monitor the ethanol percentage - perhaps the non flex fuel engines don't have the sensor needed for this...

For me, I am only getting 4 out of 8 gauges that give me any reliable data. So I am going to set this app aside as it is not very useful in my case. Maybe down the road it will get updated to where it is more useful to me.
Can't say I didn't try.
Thanks for all the help everyone.

Don't think it is so much the app as the gauges available in your truck. If those gauges work inside of torque then we can bring it up to the dev.

I'll have to setup the same gauges in torque see if the results are different.

Just started playing with this an hour ago... So far, Engine % Torque & Oil Temp don't work. There's a check box for a popup flag in the 2nd pic that says "Engine has reached operating temp"
So is 45% ethanol normal for just filling with E85? Certainly hope to see 10% after going back to regular.

My ethanol reads a bit off for the first 3-5 minutes after refueling. I haven't put e85 in it since having this gauge but I imagine if you go for a drive it would read much closer to 85% unless of course you had a bit more of e10 in there when you fueled up.

SYNC 3 Wallpaper OBD2 For AA
Started experimenting with different background images including some F150 logos but they all made the gauges hard to read. I cropped a pic from a day on the NC Outer banks to have mostly sand on the lower third so the gauges would be legible.

Beware, google has been taking steps to stop the guy who made the AA app for youtube and broke this app. Choices are don't upgrade Android Auto on your phone past 2.9 or follow the workaround from the dev, it does require a windows computer to do.

Yes, after I got Android Auto 3.0 the OBD2 app stopped working; the app dev had a patch that fixed it soon after & it's working ok for now.
