Sure a stryker or bradley can do some damage to the enemy , but compared to a M1A2; it is light duty
its all in relative terms

I'm glad you found it comical.
Not sure where LT vs heavy duty has anything to do with my statement. I never tried to compare the two. What I found comical was where you said "worth every penny" because their not. No SD is worth $71k, that was my point. Nothing more nothing less.

Beget??? Not making babies here.... I haven't looked to see if there's any improvements to the intake, heads or computer. The 6.2l GM engine consistently pulls 20 mpg highway as reported on the GM truck forum. Maybe Ford will decide to put some R+D money at it. If GM can, why not Ford?

They're worth it to people who use their truck to haul beyond the capacity of the half ton and want the luxury of a non-commercial vehicle. Now that the super duty trucks have more or less cloned the interior of an F150, you can get the capacity of a super duty with the comfort of a light truck.

The cost of that diesel is bull****, then add in the DEF, EGR and other BS to make it less efficient and no thanks.

Don't get me wrong, I think it looks awesome and I would love to have a diesel F250 just so I know I can do anything with a truck if need be. Totally not worth it for the cost. Go on the build site, pick a Crew Cab with a 6-3/4" foot bed, 4x4 with the diesel and select XL. You'll have a $50000 vehicle (after tax) that doesn't even have power windows.

Ford did change some specs for the 2017 6.2. More torque at a lower rpm.

Have been some rumors of a 10 speed for the superduty in the near future, 2018-2020. That would really help mpg

The GM version of the new 10 speed is in the 640hp ZL1 Camaro and the Ford version is in the 450hp 2017 Raptor. So I dont see any reason it would not end up in the superduty trucks very soon.
