I am not sure of your zip, but I used 02115 and there are 145 S-cab V8 trucks within 50 miles of that zip-code. https://www.cars.com/for-sale/search...28880&zc=02115

This made me curious, so I just checked my dealer for the heck of it. They have 92 new F150's in stock today. 27 are V8's, 65 are V6's. They list 64 as SCrews, 22 as SCabs, and 2 RC's (not sure what the missing 4 are). Of the 27 V8 models they have, 20 are SCrews, 6 are SCabs, and 1 is a RC.

It was my experience last time I was shopping with them that they sell far more SCrews than the others, and limiting yourself to a SCab, as I also did, reduces your selection pretty drastically. Limiting to a V-8 reduces it even more. If you're looking for a specific trim level, you may be out of luck.

Honestly, in order to get exactly what you want, you are probably going to have to either order or expand your searches to include more dealers. I'm pretty sure you can still do expanded searches on existing inventories from Ford's web site.

When I bought...
Move to the Northeast and let me know how that 8.5 year old daily driver is holding out.

When I bought my 15 there were 2 similarly equipped Lariats on the lot, one with a twin panel sunroof and one without. I ultimately chose the one without because of the consistently reported issues. My neighbor had one and had both the rattle and leaks. The rattle was never satisfactorily fixed. I had a sunroof in my previous 2 trucks and used it all the time. I don't miss the sunroof as I simply open up the rear slider to provide the same type of ventilation I used the sunroof for.
If you knew me better, you would know it's used for business and groceries.
And that I've run every truck in the past 20 years past 150,000 miles.

Translation... A reliable truck for work is the driving force. This decision is purely a business move and nothing else.
It's certainly not because I have a money tree in the back yard.

The 05 was 7 year's old when I sold it. The 10 was a used ****box that was a mistake on my part. If it was a solid truck, I'd be talking about trading that one in.
I liked that powertrain, but it was just a badly put together f150.

Now for the first time, I don't have a vehicle with 125,000 miles on my odometer after 4 years.
So I find myself with a truck that has low miles and has $18,000 dollars in equity.
Believe what you must, but a 2018 with a $60,000 sticker will end up being more affordable than my 14's $51,000 sticker has been.
I either do it now, or I will keep this truck for 4 more year's and hand over more money to the government.

Look up Quirk ford in Quincy Ma. Stoneham ford (my dealer) in Stoneham Ma. And anything in and around the 01864 area code.

No you're right they're out there, I'm really hoping to get into a Lariat with the 502a or even the 501a.

With my mileage and options in my current truck, I'd prefer to stay at the same trim level.

That's a great resource. I appreciate the tip.
If you happen to find one let me know... Please.

I can only find 5 of them with a V8 and the 502a.

Sorry, I didn't mean to quote you 5 times.
