My wife stole my truck
I have driven Ford trucks since 1980 and have had a few of them over the years. Most of them where XLT's and below. I leased a 2015 XL up until July 31st this year when the lease was pretty much over. I found a left over 2016 Platinum full loaded dealer lot (DEMO). I worked some magic and brought it home. It has the 3.5 Eco 3.55 Elocker and Max Tow package. Now to my original complaint. My wife wanted a Jeep wrangler 4 door so in 2014 I bought her one. It has a 3.6L NA engine and 3.31 rear end. To say this thing is anemic is to understate it. The ride is typical Jeep ruff and bouncy. When I brought the truck home she sort of laughed at me. Over the last week she heads out to work before I do. When I get out to the driveway she has taken off in my truck. When I talk to her she always has an excuse of why she took it. So I am thinking my truck just became her truck and I have a bouncy Jeep)-; Maybe I will put 3.73 rear end in the Jeep to help it have a little get up and go.

You could always park the Jeep behind your truck, or take away her key. :shifty:

That's hilarious!
I almost *wish* my wife would abscond with my truck... then I could trade her Escape in on a Mustang GT Convertible :D Hell, she doesn't want to drive in the snow anyway, so what do we need a 4WD (really, AWD) Escape for? I have the opposite problem - she's driven my truck for about 25 combined feet (pulling holly bushes out of the ground). She drove my last truck (2011 F-150) for a total of 15 feet. I can't get her to drive my truck no matter what! -John |
hahaha. Great story!!!
My daughter is coming up on driving age and she's been in love with my F150 since the day I brought it home. I told her if she does well enough in school she can take it to college with her after her first year. This gives me a few more years with it anyway. :) |
Trade the Jeep in on a new F150 for yourself.

HA, learned that lesson years ago, my wife doesn't HAVE a key to my truck! The spare is easy to get to, it just doesn't have a battery(and she doesn't know that either).

Sack up and trade in the Jeep for another F150........
