Default My new truck!

I haven't had a new truck in a long time. I bought a 2010 FX2 brand new, but then sold it in 2011 to free up cash to buy another house. Since then I've been driving a 1997 2.3 ranger that I bought for $700.00. It had 140K on it when I bought it and I just traded it in with 230k. It was a great little truck!

Anyways... Yesterday I made the deal to buy a 2017 XL with STX, SPRT, Tow PKG, and FX4.

Plans for now, I just bought some 2017 Raptor running boards off CL.

What are you guys thoughts on gun metal plasti dip? I don't like how shinny these rims are. I was really wanting the thin 6 spoke factory wheels, but this truck had everything else.

Find some 6 spoke take off's in 18" and put some more beefy sidewall showing. Then leave it alone.

Hey your factory wheels look pretty good to me.

Either way, you should be able to sell them real fast if you want to go different.

Congrats!

Thanks guys!

I installed the '17 raptor running boards today. I read a couple threads were people said the thread were special and that made me laugh... For any future reader, the bolts for running boards are 8mm X 1.25mm. The bottom two bolts just have paint on them. Top spins on and off fine and I measured them as well.
