PS: Go Eagles!
I'm quickly noticing an issue; Exhausts are mostly made for short beds.... SCREW + 6.5 Bed is rare I guess.

Yes, this is a case you get what you pay for. Notice the 1m warranty, all 304 stainless, you won't even get a crust of rust like with 409.
My last one I bought from Stage3, right about $1025USD, +/-. That was back in October.

"I always wanted the one that was long and black" - Johnny Cash, Once piece at a time

Very nice rig! Exhaust wise, Borla does make the Ford Racing / Ford Performance exhaust as well. Roughly the same price as the Borlas themselves, maybe $100 difference. I was leaning toward those I thought there would be less risk of a warranty issue but I'm going to wait until my warranty is done anyway. I'm looking at duals out the back & the borla is the only one that clearly state that it will let me keep the spare tire. Magnaflow you have to remove it.

My 16 Lariat, 502A is rated for 2080 lbs payload. I must not have as much as you lol

I doubt your payload is 2080. That's the max for your engine/cab/bed configuration. I bet it's closer to 1600lbs. Look at the red and yellow sticker in your driver's door jamb, it'll give you the ACTUAL payload, which even magazines don't report (they all report the Ford-stated maximum for the engine/cab/bed configuration).

I have a Borla ATAK on my 2016 5.0L, but I'm switching it over when my 2018 XLT Spec Edition arrives next week. Same as you, 5.0L, 6.5' bed. Borla makes an adapter pipe #60556 to make the systems fit the 6.5' beds, it's like $60USD. I have one on order so my exhaust can be switched.

The ATAK system does have some cabin noise, as it is a pretty loud exhaust. I like it though, being a Harley salesman I like noise LOL. It isn't much louder at warm idle, but in the mid range is where it screams.

Check out some youtube videos and compare, I will say from experience the Borla ATAK does sound very similar to many of the videos. It's loud.

I stand corrected, it's 1731 on the tag. 2080 was stuck in my head for some reason, probably from the literature.

No worries - I can't tell you how many times salespeople quote those numbers from the literature, and even then they like to quote a HDPP truck's max payload number.

I knew a guy from the cigar shop who bought a then-new 2011 F-150 with the 5.0. Dealership told him his payload was 3,000lbs. I laughed and showed him where it was really 1,800lbs. Boy, was he pissed!

nice truck. looks like the 2018 version of my 2015. If you like a nice exhaust note, then you are in for a treat with the 5.0 . I have the flowmaster American thunder kit on mine and it is loud but not obnoxious. It has a nice tone on the highway. I have a 4 month old and a 4 year old and they both sleep just fine in the back with the exhaust. Cold starts are pretty loud I will say, but that is the case with almost any aftermarket exhaust, these coyotes are just loud on cold start up
