Apparently you have never heard of Henry Ford.

I bought a KR because I like the interior and the other items that came with the KR package. I compared the Lariat, KR, Platinum, and Limited before choosing the KR. I had a 2015 Lariat and did not like the seats, did not want a moon roof so that eliminated the Limited. That left the KR and the Platinum. The KR was more to my taste.

One on my favorite trim levels of the past was the Eddie Bauer package.

Having someone else's name on a vehicle does not bother me.

We had a 2002 KR. It was a great truck.
We are now, driving a 2017 White Gold/Caribou King Ranch. Liked the interior better than the Platinum, or the Limited.

The KR makes a nice looking truck IMO. No matter if there is someone else's name on it.

Your original post was worthless, so I thought I'd add my little touch.

Seems to have worked to marvelous effect.

I debated long and hard between the King Ranch and the Platinum. Ruled limited out right away as I could not get several important things, the 6.5 foot bed and max tow.

There were some things I liked better about the KR, like the two tone paint and and rims with the caribou on them. Leather was pretty much the same between the trucks as were the seats.

Equipped with all the same options and features I wanted the KR was more money as many things were options on the KR that were standard on the Platinum.

Ended up with the Platinum. However the KR is a very nice truck, and love what it represents.

This much debate over a trim level... almost as bad as ecoboost vs 5.0 honestly
