Mine got worse in the last year... Hardly, or didn't really notice them like this until most recently.

Oddly enough.. as bad as the others look... my Right Rear, pretty much is perfect.. I can't find a flake missing anywhere on it.

If the replacement go bad, they will be out of warranty.. I'll either paint the edges myself with a silver stripe, or switch them out for some custom wheels at that time.

I found a place in Detroit that will refinish them for $750.00. They will also trade you a refinished set and you give them your old ones. Plus $250.00 shipping.

For $100 more you can get a set of after market wheels identical to OE... in black ...chrome...or black chrome.

I'd personally go with the black chrome myself!

Really digging those wheels from a few years ago. Would those fit a 2019?

Had the same thing happen back in 2017. Ford replaced all of them. So far they look good. I recommend when needing new tires to take them to a shop that handles custom rims all the time. They'll be more gentle to these rims as I've seen some Ford dealers tear these up around the edge when installing new tires.

you're supposed to wax them to keep that coating soft. once it dries out and gets hard it flakes off. of coursed ford doesn't tell you this.

Here you go. I've purchased a few sets of tpms from this site as well as a replacement wheel for an infinity that was 1/3 the price of oem.

Pretty much every single F-150 I've ever seen with PVD finished wheels has peeling around the edge. Most owners don't notice, some do. I had a full set replaced on my 2015 Lariat with 20" wheels, my dad also had a set replaced on his 2015 KR. Fixed that issue by trading to a truck with no (fake) chrome
