Default My Brunello interior looks purple!

So I looked at several platinums prior to buying mine, and several had the "brunello" interior that looked very brown. I wanted a blue truck that had that interior, and ended up buying one from a dealer that brought it to us so I never saw it. The salesman commented that he'd never seen that combo before, and he really liked it with the "wine" colored seats. Huh? I didn't think anything of it until it showed up, and he is dead right. They are far more burgundy than brown.
Does anyone else have brunello that looks more reddish than brown? Wondering if we got a weird dye lot or something? I like it, but my wife keeps insisting it is purple, and is not a fan. I tried taking pictures of it, but the phone just can't capture the color for some reason.

The color might come through when you upload them.

Next you'll be telling people that your shirt is salmon and not pink, lol.

Is the leather dry?

I happened to dress my seats with Lexol (from Walmart and my dealer) yesterday, and the seats look brown to me.

You might try some dressing in an inconspicuous place, and see what it looks like. I know it makes mine pop.

Could be just the lighting but in fact, Brunello is a type of red wine so your salesman is correct. lol

My Brunello seats usually look brown, but under some lighting they look wine, or burgundy. I think they are great looking seats.

Mine definitely have a maroon tint to them. But I am kinda partial to that color. Gig'em!
