Default My 2015 XL Build

Well i know i have probably got on everyones nerves over the last few weeks asking questions about lifts, wheels, tires and grilles but i finally bit the bullet and started ordering stuff for my truck. When i got my xl it had a few more upgrades on it then others i had looked at like the sliding rear window, 3.73 gears, back up camera, integrated trailer break and the tailgate step. I love my truck, its the first new vehicle ive ever had and i can say im proud of it!

The first picture is the day i bought it.

From there i wanted to find a lift that was suitable for my needs and didnt cut the frame. So i chose the boss coilover lift, and the customer service from Alex was great! The coilovers should be here next week while i have the rear block and shocks already.

I decided to go with a 20x9 gear alloy 737v challenger wheels with a 0 offset and 275/60/20 nitto terra grapplers. I got the wheels and tires put on today and i had no rubbing with the 33 inch tall tire but it did make it look like a different truck.

Next is to install my boss lift, put on the extend a flares, change out the black xl grille to a chrome 5 bar xlt grille, and im on the edge of a flowmaster and a bull bar with chrome lights.

I was wrong about the rubbing! Haha I found backing up at full turn it'll rub and turning hard will rub, the could be from the 0 offset but it'll hold me over until the lift. Thanks guys!

nice truck. I will be looking forward to this build as I'm planning on a XL SCrew when I get mine and build it.

I actually like the black XL nostril grill over the others.

Finally got the lift installed and it's amazing! The stance is perfect and the ride is even better. I have candy blue springs to match the color also. That's the 3 inch coil overs with a 2.5 inch block
