I purchased a 2015 2.7 ecoboost f150 in may 2016. I am on my 4th oil pan (~58,000 miles) and I’m fed up! Ford won’t help at all, only offering me an extended warranty plan that I will have to purchase from them. I can’t stand to give them another dollar at this point. What can I do? Can anyone help the situation? Advice? I feel like I’m getting a royal fu**ing from Ford!

We are having the exact same problems with our 2015 Ford 2.7 ecoboost purchased in April of 2016. We just had our 4th oil pan replaced and we have less than 40,000 miles on our vehicle. First time was under warranty. 2nd and 3rd time, Ford Corporate paid for it. This 4th time, the dealer fixed it for free. Each time we've asked for them to buy it back and have been refused. This is a known problem (attachment of dissimliar materials) and I'm guessing they are waiting until enough people scream before considering a recall. We are finally opening a case with the Better Business Bureau.

I wish you luck, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a recall. Those of us who owned the 5.4 Tritons with the spark plugs that often snapped off when you tried to change them waited for recall, too. Never happened.

Same Problem - 4 times in the shop - oil leaks

Hello,

I'm having the same problem with my 2016 f150. I've had it repaired 3 times with a new oil pan, and last time they replace the long block too. I now have another leak from the oil pan. 70k miles and our warranty is up in April. I cannot get any response from ford on extending the warranty due to the constant oil leak defect since we bought it. I'm curious if you've gotten any resolution on your vehicle?

Thanks,
