Compared to a car starting on fire, yes, cooled seats not working as well as you like is a minor issue. What are you missing in what I'm saying? Hell, seats turning on when they shouldn't be based on a last used setting is also way more minor than cooled seats not working well. Come on now.

I followed his instructions and nothing he described occurred. I used last setting, which we set to medium. Tried it again on high and the seat got very warm, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I found a major problem on my truck and took it to a dealership. They thought it was just mine, and gave me a loaner while they tried fix it. It is with the remote start/heated seats.
Go to:
Advance settings
Remote start
Switch climate to last setting (Heat has to be on)
Turn off seats and steering wheel (if so equipped)
Once you do this, shut your truck off.
Then remote start it, and check your passenger seat and steering wheel. If it's on, take it to the dealership ASAP. Mine did this and so did two others that I checked. There is a glitch in the programming and Ford isn't telling anyone about it. But Just the passenger seat gets REAL HOT, and could cause a fire if not fixed.
