Default Are the Morimoto fogs still the top of the line option?

https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...l#.VqWRZVKrHr9

From what I've read these are the one of the best options around with all things considered, true? At this point we are nearing Porsche-like prices for a vehicle and I assume money is no object for a set of fog lights that do the 'fog light' job and look like they fit with the rest of the lighting scheme on the truck. Any comments would be appreciated if anyone thinks there are better options available that outperform these.

I'd consider simply swapping out the bulbs for some color-matching bright af leds but I worry about them becoming a "headlight" or worse, a blinding, failed fog light upgrade attempt.

After seeing the light output pictures on the morimotos, and coming from having 3000k hids in my fog lights, I'd rather spend he money on another route for the output you get.

And 4 of these with yellow covers:

Default These are all rigids so you have some idea

This is what the light output of Rigids are. Every Light you see are rigid industries. Each is its own pattern though

Not necessarily top of the line option but reading the thread below today, it appears that many other members have been replacing the stock bulb with the high beam bulb and almost tripling output for $25. Apparently the fog height and angle is not blinding to oncoming traffic. I suppose if heat were to distort the factory housing in the summer months due to the hotter bulb, the expensive route could be taken then

Stock 9140 = 600 Lumens
Replace with your 9005 High beam bulbs = 1,700 Lumens

Ive had them since they came out and love them. They match the color of the led headlights perfectly. The stock fogs looked yellow compaired to the led headlights.
