No sir I have a bare bones XL STX FX4 package comes equipped w basic halogen headlights. Retro Customz uses a Morimoto wiring harness that is literally plug in play into the factory halogen system the C Bar option does require basic wiring pending on how you want to use it. I want my C Bar to become my DRL so I wired it to ignition 12V circuit and then military tapped the turn signal wire for the switchback.

Back to the topic on Morimoto F-150 XB LED Headlights. We've managed to get a set of these for our 2018 F150 and couldn't miss the opportunity to film a small video overview to show their main features:

That install is oversimplified and not accurate. Plugging into the factory harness is not all there is to making them work properly.

I have these installed on my truck. The halo's do not work unless you run the fuse tap...and once you do that they are then 'on' anytime you have the engine running. This is very annnoying if you don't want the halo's on all the time and prefer them to only come on when you have your running lights on (which is the way that the halo's work on other aftermarket lights that are made for our trucks). The wierd part is if you just have one Morimoto headlight installed (and have a non-Morimoto headlight installed on the other side) the halo in the Morimoto headlight does come on with the running lights- even with no fuse tap in place.
Also, when running the halo's off of the fuse tap they stay lit at an intensity that is almost distractingly bright at night, they do not dim down when the headlights are on. When I had just one light installed and the halo came on with the running lights, it came on at a much more appropriate intensity and was not nearly as bright as it is when getting power from the fuse tap.
Some sort of adapter harness needs to be made available that allows you to run the halo's only with your running lights...then for those that want them on full blast 100% of the time the fuse tap method could be used.
I love the headlights in general, but I am not happy with their current setup that only gives you the option of either having no halos (by not running the fuse tap) or having halos that are always on if you run the fuse tap.
