I went from a '07 with no moonroof to a '10 with moonroof and I love it. I live in FL so in the cooler months it's great to have it open with the sliding rear window. Really helps keep the truck cool without wind directly blowing on you. It's also nice when I'm outside during the summer I can leave it propped up to vent the extensive heat out without the worry that someone could break in.

Also I have had no issues with the moonroof leaking, it's very stable...now the 3rd brake light on the other hand, I just can't figure out why Ford won't fix this leaky issue, it's the only problem I've ever had with these trucks.

Although if it's between the moonroof and the nav system I would suggest the nav if you have to pick. Ford sync has done a very good job intigrating everything and it works much more seamless when you have the nav screen. Also the backup camera is really nice to have.

I declined to get one because I plan on keeping the truck for a long time. I just read too many horror stories about leaks and I didn't want to think about it or have it in the back of my mind every time it rains hard, or when I go through the car wash. I like having peace of mind. I know that the odds are vastly in my favor for a perfect non leaking, creaking sunroof but I didn't want the thoughts about it messing with me.

I also do not like the panorama type roofs with the cloth cover. I like the harder covers in the small sunroofs.

I've had it on my Lexus and but chose not to get it on the F150 because I rarely use it.
The sliding cab window is my new moonroof and i love it.

U less you are 6'10" or taller headroom is not an issue. I am 6'5" with sunroof and have PLENTY of room overhead. Some cars - you are absolutely correct but not the f150.

Ill buy. Will only have truck for probably 2 years though. Being a service manager for Ford I get D plan pricing so it will be a litttle easier for me to switch in and out of trucks every couple years.

Then no moonroof. If you are leasing then it actually lowers your payment.
