hell yeah get the sunroof! I wish it opened further back and was designed to be quieter but it's awesome.

I like the moon roof because it put a very big smile on the 2 year old grand daughter when I open it for her.

She also loves to sit in the drivers seat because there is lots of buttons to push. LOL

That may be. Just check out this very forum and you'll see the issues. I just made an appt with a sunroof repair shop for the fix and he said " yes, i've done a bunch of ford f150 repairs". So think what you want, I have firsthand experience.

I ordered a Larial 502 sport which should be here at the end of the month but I did not get the sunroof because as much as I love sunny days, I hate the sun on me.. It actually drives me nuts after a little bit. So my decision was easy. My wife on the other hand loves her sunroof on her edge, when I drive it and its overcast, I do open it and enjoy it but for a daily I don't really use it.

Get what you want... Try it out, if you don't like it then as you said that typically in 2 years you will be into something new, then order without.

I'd rather have the option of a solid panoramic roof that doesn't open, but lets in light...

Said truck pic

and I can't really find a reason why I would take a pic of the broken sunroof to satisfy your request.

I have had sunroofs in every vehicle I have owned since 1974 other than the 94 Chevrolet C2500 I traded for the new F150 and never had even a tiny issue with any of them. I use mine daily as I prefer the openness and breeze to the A/C most all the time... even when it is in the 90's like it has been here lately off and on. If we are dressed to go out or on the highway doing 70 MPH then we use the A/C. I believe that the people who like to rant tend to find audiences on forums like ours and adopt the "Sky is falling" mentality like suggesting that you should never purchase a vehicle with a sunroof. I am very comfortable knowing that the persons who seem to enjoy the rant and make a huge issue out of every little thing are actually a miniscule portion of sunroof owners and by no means represent a majority. Consequently, My 2016 Lariat SuperCab has a sunroof and I love it and use it all the time!! I would highly recommend a Sun/Moon Roof to anyone who loves the outdoors and doesn't feel the need to be in a cage when they are driving. Everybody's Different!
