I just bought a new 2015 Lariat for about $10K off MSRP. Haven't used the 4A feature yet, but love having that function since what I would usually use 4WD for is snowy roads.

my 2013 has it and when its raining or expect slick or freezing stuff. it stays in the 4A mode, gives me a bit more peace of mind.
we got it so it can be towed four down....easier
but the auto feature has engaged many times or at least i think so, on slippery roads.

Since I came from a Grand Cherokee with full time 4wd, I do wish my XLT had 4A, but I need it so little (1-2x per year), it's not a huge deal.

Obviously damp roads would just about never justify engaging 4wd, but how are people's XL and XLT's traction control systems handle situations like that?? Besides luxury wise, does anyone wish they would have upgraded to the 4A? Thank you! I love this forum!
I don't have 4A and I've yet to spin a tire on wet pavement. The traction control does the job just fine, and when I do need 4x4 it's not all that difficult to flip the switch on and off when going from snow cover to dry pavement. 1st world problems..LOL
