Default Mod Question - 2016 Lariat FX4 Tailpipe

Hate the chrome bolt on tail pipe that is standard on my truck, looking to replace, anyone have done this with an aftermarket matte black one? If so, any pics or recommendations on which one to buy that will fit well and not look cheesy? Anyone also know off the the top of their head what the OD of the current pipe is prior to pulling off the bolted on factory chrome tip?

Take it off, scuff it up, and spray it with some high heat paint. >10$
OEM tip with the look you want.

I cut mine off, clear back to the spare tire shroud. I like the symmetrical look now.

D@mn Johnny, I have like three cans of that stuff from coating my ATV undercarriage at home, cancelling that $90 tip on Amazon now and heeding the solid recommendation. Thanks man!

That paint is great. Highly recommend it.
Used when i lifted my XJ on the muffler and cat that were way too obvious due to the lift. Tail pipe tip got painted too.
