Mirror Blinkers Mod
#21
What part(s) do you need help with? I will help you understand. And by not using relays and doing it my way, you won't hear anything extra in addition to the stock blinker noise.

I'm thinking one circuit in each mirror (and hoping that both required power sources and ground are available there too)?

The BCM is the body control module, this is just short hand for locating the stock wires going to the driver and passenger side mirrors respectively. The mod circuit would need to be patched in there.
T0-T3 are just basic transistors, which you could think of as a non mechanical relay that won't wear out or make clicking noises.
I'm not sure if the door is grounded or not to the body, or if it's isolated.
I would hope that there's an ignition switched +12V in the door.
I also agree putting a mod circuit in each door would be the cleanest and best install.
Can someone confirm if theres a switched +12 volts and ground available in the door?

I know on a lot of GM cars the front side markers blink with the turn signals if the parking lights are off, if they are on the side market blinks opposite of the turn signal. So when the turn signal is lit the side market is out and when the turn signal is not lit the side market is lit again. Haven't checked on my new truck though

Think of it as a switchback and not a halfassed diode/resistor solution that was mentioned here in post #19 pointing to the duramaxforum.
