Wow, aluminum melts at just over 1200 degrees...
Wonder what caused this fire?

The steel firewall worked! Usually the firewall protects occupants from engine fire, worked in reverse.

Hey Print out these pics and bring them to your dealer and complain about your AC seats not working and tell them this happen already because the back of the seat got too hot...

I don't suppose anyone knows what happen here. I wonder if the new Aluminum bodies are going to cause insurance rate to increase more.

I wonder if this is one of those trucks caught in that big dealership fire earlier this year? There doesn't appear to be any frame damage so it doesn't look like it was involved in an accident... and it burned from the back to the front, more on the right side like it was parked on an angle... and that fire was hot!!

I think any interior vehicle fire, not put out if seconds, will total said vehicle. As a retired fireman I have seen many care fires and they go quick. This should not affect insurance rates.
