Could you imagine climbing up on your brand new house and repairing your brand new roof because it leaked and the builder said it was performing as designed?
Is anyone bewildered that the Ford representatives on this forum will not even attempt to contact the loyal customers here with these problems and continue to ignore these problems and customers like we don't even exist?
Haven't you heard we only paid 35-70k for these trucks we can't expect perfection if you want perfection you would have to spend well over 100k for a truck and you know the interior is a cheap interior because we didn't pay enough either.

No worries though all of these issues can be diagnosed and fixed... I mean tried to be fixed.. I mean they will try twice then say sorry tough cookies this is as designed no defect.

In all honestly YES Ford should be standing behind their products and should be covering these issues as well as any other issue under the warranty. Will they? Most likely not based on my experience. Oh and the Ford Reps are not truly Ford people they are marketing folks paid to represent Ford. They are good at tracking your vehicle and calling someone truly at Ford on your behalf.

To the OP and his friend that posted the pictures thank you. I figured it out this morning the area.

I placed painters tape on the outside over this and my son didn't complain his ears hurt today on the way to school.

Is there a way to get a better explanation of the testing procedure I want to go around the cab now.
