maybe it's not the door seals
After reading all the chatter about wind noise, I decided to do some exploring. Mine has a good roar from the right rear. we use to do a test on wind noise when I worked at a MB/Volvo dealer. if you have a mechanics stethoscope, great. a 2 foot long pieces of 1/4 " rubber hose will work. star truck turn fan too full on. turn off recycle. shut engine down. turn key back on. the fan will pressurize the cab. stick one end of the hose near your best ear. put the other end where there might be a leak. I did not find any leakes at the door seals but a big one was at the rear end of the belt line trim. other side was ok. easy way too check for wind noise without having to drive.

Interesting. I don't have my truck yet but wonder if this could be fixed with some RTV gasket (applied with IV syringe) could close up the gap and eliminate noise.

Isn't it amazing, the way we have to cobble crap and try to repair something ourselves, that is supposedly under bumper to bumper warranty and should be repaired by the manufacturer?
Could you imagine climbing up on your brand new house and repairing your brand new roof because it leaked and the builder said it was performing as designed?
Is anyone bewildered that the Ford representatives on this forum will not even attempt to contact the loyal customers here with these problems and continue to ignore these problems and customers like we don't even exist?
