I just installed the 7" Maxtrac lift but I installed a 3" spacer in the front instead of the 2.5" to give me a total of 7.5" in the front and a 5 inch lift block in the rear the truck is perfectly level now. I'm sitting on 35x13.5 tires Xtreme Force XF8 24x14 wheels (first set to hit Florida) rubs like hell tho on the lower corner of the cab.

I finally installed my lift! I did the Maxtrac spindles with Bilstein 5100s set at 1.75” and Bilstein 5125s in the rear with the maxtrac 4” block. My wheels are 20x9’s with a +10 offset wrapped in the Ridge Grappler 295/65R20s. This thread helped answer a ton of questions so I figure I’d add a bit of my experience with the kit and hopefully it helps someone else too.

So the first thing I was worried about was where to order the kit through. I didn’t need the spacers that come with the 7” kit and didn’t want the shocks either. It didn’t make sense to pay that much for the kit and only use half of it so I wanted to order the parts I did need separately. Some of the threads mentioned not ordering through Maxtrac’s store but I dealt with Rob Coniam at Maxtrac and he was extremely helpful. On top of only getting the parts I did want it somehow came out to just about the same price but with some of the upgraded components I wanted. I definitely recommend purchasing through Maxtrac directly.

Next I really wanted Bilsteins all the way around but a lot of people are having issues with the 5125s on our trucks as they come with a 5/8 eyelet rather than the 1/2 inch one that our trucks should have. Rob at maxtrac was able to get me the correct eyelets that fit tight into the truck so there is no clunking.

My truck is my daily driver and cutting crash bars wasn’t an option. I went with the 295/65R20s which is basically a 35x11.7. This size tire combined with the +10 offset does not rub at all. On top of that the tread sits perfectly flush with the fender in the rear with the sidewalls barely poking out. The fronts are one half inch farther out.

It really is a good quality kit and went together pretty easily. Have a friend nearby for an extra set of hands and the install will go much quicker. All in all I am very happy with the lift.

SEANZY - Thanks for sharing. Your truck looks great. I especially like the 295/60R20 tires. And I want the same tires on my truck.... Would you say the overall lift about 6 inches?

Thanks I appreciate it. Any time I have a tape measure in hand I can’t seem to find level ground but the front always seems to measure between 6-6.25 inches of lift not including the tires. And just so I don’t throw you off I want to point out that those are the 295/65’s not the 295/60’s. About an inch of height difference with the same width. One other thing I was worried about was how stiff the E rated tires were going to feel on an F-150 but so far I am pleasantly surprised with how smooth they ride. I think you will like them.

Almost 2 years with the 4.5" maxtrac lift and I recently got an annoying squeak from the front end. Anyone have any issues yet? Not sure if its from the kit or not

Do you fit in your (I assume 7') garage? I'm trying to decide on staying at 4.5" or adding the 1" spacer like you did. Thanks.

I went with a 4.5" maxtrac spindles + a 1" strut spacer (thanks AricsFX)
In the rear I went with 3" maxtrac rear blocks.
The tires are DickCepek Trail Country EXP 305/70r18.
The wheels are 18x9 +12mm offset (so it's effectively 0mm offset in the front after the spindles' increased track width)

I was going to go with longer lugs and a half inch hub centric spacer in the rear, but it's not that noticeable IMO.

Thanks AricsFX for answering my questions during the install.

Here are the pics...

Yes, it fits in my 7' garage. The opening of my garage is just over 83". The tallest point of the truck is the rear of the cab and I have a clearance of just over 3.5".

Here are a couple of pics showing the clearance. Also, I was able to fit a 4x4 2015F150 with a zone 6" lift and 35" nittos in this same garage (look thru my old posts to see the garage clearance of that one... It BARELY fit). This truck has plenty of clearance. You should be fine.
