I replaced the maxtrac spacer that comes with their kit with Eibach shocks and the truck gained some height. I had to swap the 4" block with 5" blocks to fix it

It sits even now. I can't stand having the "lean"

I have a 2015 screw EB 2wd I just had a 6" RC lift kit installed today and the front sits lower than the rear by about 2", would the Eibach Pro Truck or Bilstein 5100 shocks raise the front of my truck up more even though I have the RC suspension lift already on it?

You can try it or replace the 5.5" block that comes with the RC kit with a shorter block.

You can either try using 5100 or Eibachs or you can go the budget route and use a takeoff set of 4x4 springs/shocks. There was another member that is running the 4x4 front shocks and springs on his RC 2wd and he gained another 1.5"

thx white, do you remember where you saw the member who had that setup? I'd like to talk to him to get some more info. Are you saying replacing my stock 2wd shocks and springs with stock shocks and springs from a 15-17 4x4 will give me added height?

Yes. The 4x4 shocks/struts are about 1" longer. It will be cheaper and easier. Buying new Bilsteins or Eibach would mean you have compress the springs out swap over the perches and reinstall them.

Search the member builds section. It was a black 15+ supercrew 2wd with the RC lift, I cannot remember what the member's name was

Default Maxtrac 6" lift.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the great advice, I must say without this forum I would be lost. I did the lift a couple days ago I wanted to share some of the pictures with you guys.

I want to put this out there, hopefully this will help someone else who is looking to do this in the future.

I used the Maxtrac Spindles upfront with Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Shocks. I set the shocks to 1.26". In the rear, I used the Maxtrac 4" blocks with BDS Fox 2.0's. I think it might have been a little bit more level if I set it up to 1.75". I didn't want to risk having the truck nose high so I played it safe.

Thanks to lametrodad for meeting up with me and giving some great tips and the opportunity to check out his setup.

I've got along way to go but, I think this was a good start.

Hope you guys like it!

Truck looks great. Glad you figured out what you wanted. Looks like you're running 22s, what size tire did you go with?

Glad to see that the readylift parts worked with the spindle. What rear block?

Might want to check your rear blocks. The rear wheel doesn't look centered in the fender
