Lumbar pop
Sat back yesterday in my seat and heard a pop, after which I felt like the lumbar area was concave. I see a couple other threads about this, but nothing that said if it is easy to replace. I have extended warranty, so trying to decide if worth my time to go to dealer twice (once to diagnose and order part and second time to get installed) or just do it myself. Anyone else have this issue?
Thank you, tmcolegr.
>>5. Detach the electrical connector retainers and position the wire harnesses aside.
Do these just pull straight down to remove connectors from clip and allow the straps to be removed? Or is there some trick to getting the connectors out of the way.

Anyone know how these two connectors are removed from the retainer clips to get the seat cover straps off? I assume I don't need to disconnect them... I don't want to mess with any airbag connections...
I got the seat back off and confirmed that the problem is the little clip that holds the lumbar cable to the seat frame. I see a YouTube video where someone just took one from the passenger seat, but I would prefer to have both seats working. I can't find any parts list for the lumbar assembly. Hoping that the little 50 cent piece is sold separately and I don't have to buy an entire lumbar assembly to get it. I am under extended warranty, but I just did not feel like spending a few hours at the dealer on two days (diagnose one day and repair another) to get this done. Anyone know if this part is available from Ford and if so, the part #?
