Lug Nuts
Ford rounded off my lug nuts using the wrong size socket and they refuse to pay for replacements because they say it could have been anyone. Replacements from Ford are quite expensive. Auto parts store says they are a special type and really are quite expensive. Has anyone found affordable aftermarket replacement lug nuts? I'm running the stock lug nuts on Raptor wheels.
Get Gorilla lug nuts. They're pretty good and many people on this forum have them. Just do a quick search using the search function. I even think someone on the for sale section sells them.
Welcome to the crappy lug nut discussion group, LOL.

My Gorilla replacements are due in today, we'll see how they are.

I went with the McGard Spline Drive lug nuts. They have the advantage of being inherently anti-theft (most thieves aren't going to have a spline drive with them), they look nicer, and they're thinner/compatible with aftermarket wheels.
Amazon was the cheapest place I found to get them. Make sure to order the spline drive socket... I bought two - one for the truck, one for the toolbox.

Stock lugs for my F150 are M14 x 1.5. Google it
So the Gorilla lug nuts I ordered 2 posts up, 61148CX, showed up. They look like they have a good chrome coating on them, and they are .004" higher than OEM, so they more or less look just like OEM on the wheel, but shinier.
These are perfect.

But you will probably need to gt the right size socket (or this https://www.cjponyparts.com/gorilla-...kets/p/WHLLW1/ )

Come on, guys, are we having a failure to communicate here?
I only posted the link in Post 4 because they sounded like a good deal, $48.50 for 24 Gorilla Part# 61148CX M14x1.5.
The link in Post 7 says $72 for the exact same thing, and Post 8 says $60 for 25 nuts.
Why in the world would you pay an extra $11.50 for one extra nut?

Hey, how about torque rating? Just read the crazy torque Ford asks on this truck. It's ridiculous: 148 ft/lbs. I doubt most aftermarket lug bolts (I bet they're lug bolts, not nuts) are rated that high, but could be wrong. Just make sure, since it wouldn't be fun to lose a freaking wheel at the worst possible time.
