Lowered 2015 F150
I had a local suspension shop install a 2/4 lowering kit from crown suspension on my lariat sport.
The rear end sits how a normal 4" rear lowering kit would imo. The front however, sits significantly lower. Roughly 2".
I called crown to see what the deal was, they said this is normal because the rear end of the truck sits 3.5" higher than the front. This doesn't seem to make sense to me because the truck they lowered for SEMA is advertised as a 2/4 and has equal wheel gap both front and rear.
I'm thinking they may have sent me a 3" lowering coil rather than a 2".
Also, the alignment shop had issues getting my caster in spec and my camber is barely out of spec as well..
Could the caster being out of spec be causing some of this unleveled wheel gap issue?

I'll try to upload a better pic when I get off..
Thanks!

I'm trying to understand why anyone would want to LOWER a truck.
It makes more sense to me than 99.9% of the guys running around with lift kits that never leave the pavement. I don't know that it's my cup of tea, but it's really no more impractical than other suspension modifications. Not everyone uses their truck for the same things.

I'm trying to understand why anyone WOULDN'T!

It handles better, drives better, easier for kids in/out and does almost everything else on pavement I need better...
If I lived in the country and needed off-road ability I'd own a RAPTOR or a Jeep. If I needed to pull I'd have a F350 or bigger.
What's so hard to believe?

I don't need an F350 to tow my rv, I don't like jeeps, I don't have kids. But I do prefer ground clearance. I sometimes go to the beach which sometimes requires 4x4. From an appearance standpoint I like the lifted trucks, but mine isn't lifted. But if I wanted something low to the ground that handles well I'd get a sports car. This is all just my opinion and I do realize people like different things. I was just making an observation that a lowered truck doesn't appeal to me and I don't know what others like about them.

I see my vehicles the opposite of you. If I bought an RV it would be 30'+ and pulling a trailer with toys. I don't like Jeeps either but if I needed that kind of capability not much else to look at. I've got two kids and one on the way so not much choice when you want room and large SUV's don't really do it for me. I'd rather ride/drive an ATV/side-by-side on the beach than my truck. I don't have a problem with the lifted appearance it's just not for me. Handles worse, stops worse, worse gas mileage, harder for family to get in/out of, eats tires, brakes, etc.. I've owned a few sports cars so low isn't a problem most of the time and usually preferred...
Thanks!
