Default Low Et for my truck again

No headwind tonight although humidity was 60%. Ran 12.84, 12.76, 12.82, 12.69 & 12.80. Most runs were almost hot laps, not many cars there tonight. One rice burner oiled the track so had a short break, that netted the 12.69.

These times are nuts to me. About 10 years ago, I had a 2003 Mustang Cobra that I could get in the low 12s and at the time, that was as fast or faster than pretty much any non-exotic stock car. Now, we have full-size trucks going nearly as fast with a simple tune (and a great driver obviously; that R/T is damn good).

Im not sure how muchdrag racing you've done, but a .216 is a very poor reaction time.

That being said, the truck is flying. That 60' is awesome for the weight of the truck!

I've been racing since about 1959 when I was 16. You're right, .216 is horrible. I bracket race launching at idle, the ET runs jacked up I don't pay any attention to RTs since they're time runs & I'm going for ET. Just concentrating on getting the revs where I want them so I just leave anywhere around the last two yellows. In fact the 12.80 run my light was a .006, (I tried that time).

I figured you were just at a test n tune. My comment was directed at the other post, not yours, sorry for the confusion. Ive done a lot of drag racing and I thint your truck is very impressive.

Thanks, no problem. It was a regular bracket race night but with not many cars there I had enough time to do ET runs beside time runs for the eliminations. Which thanks to the Good Lord I was able to win my class. I do idle speed launches for the bracket racing, I'm not consistent enough with the jacked up ones.
