Default Lose all destinations

Dealer says if I trade trucks there is no way to transfer all the favorite destinations I have accumulated over the years...all have to be manually re-entered! This can’t be true...someone please tell me how to do it.

Every time we trade vehicles it's the same ritual and programming our destinations is one of them.
I've never asked the service manager if they can transfer this through the OBD port. Worth asking, but it may not be compatible with the new Sync3 anyways.
Let us know...

One word Garmin!!! and on another note dealers are useless...

I have all mine saved in my portable nuvi garmin and then in a couple of handhelds garmins.

They work way better than any nav built into a car or truck. I have nav in my F150 but never use it. I might have the map up sometimes just to look at streets.

I just pulled my wife's factory nav out of the Honda CRV and put an after market double din nav unit. That thing is great. Might pull the 15 F150's out also. Needs to Go!

I will never pay for nav in a car or track again. Total waist of money.

I bought a Garmin for my wife several years ago and it was great then she finally figured out her phone worked better and the garmin just sits in her console. Me, I never cared for stand alone gps and the way AA works with sync I will never buy a garmin or Nav again.

Everyone is different....

Correct, no way to transfer them. Make sure you ERASE them though, so many people leave all their destinations and home info in the systems. Delete phones too!

This is another reason to use Android Auto with Google Maps or Waze. Destinations are always there!

I have no more of a problem with Fords navigation than i have with Garmin or Tomtom. They all have send me with the church around the cross.
Other than that, as Ricktwuhk said. Just erase your garage door opener as well.
