Lol unicorns are so magical. Back to topic. I agree with Rexey. I do warranty work for a window company. Anytime there is a secondary film on a window such as tint and comes warranty work because a window cracked or failed(moisture in between panes) it is NOT covered by warranty. I would be the bearer of bad news as they would have to pay full price on a piece of glass plus labor. Remember if it wasn't installed at the dealer or factory and not in writing by the dealer it is considered "aftermarket"

The tint would be on the inside of the glass, that is the layers of glass de laminating from the layer of plastic.
If you think the dealer many blame this on the tint, I would remove the tint before I took it in. The glass is worth more than the tint! Wouldn't tinting the windshield make it horrible at night? Just asking, because here in Nova Scotia, it's illegal to tint the driver and passenger side glass... The windshield would be out of the question for sure
