only thing you have to watch for is how much space that locking mechanism takes up right there where the chains attach.
I have a similar style to this & it definitely makes it slightly more difficult attaching the chains for our cargo trailer (they have the spring loaded 'clip' that closes off the chain hook opening.
Next time I'll find one with a 90* on it that takes less lateral space.
This is what I’ve got and I’ve loved it. Always hated having the hitch bounce around if it wasn’t hooked up to anything. Had to drill a hole in the shaft but it was well worth it.

Harbor Freight has one that is chrome with the key going in one end that is covered with a rubber cap to keep dust, dirt, salt etc out. $14.99. I have this pin and it works well but I do take off the hitch cover in the winter-salt is the state mineral in Pa in the winter!
I use one of these. Made by Master in stainless. I don't worry to much about keeping up with the key, it stays in the console since the lock is on the truck. Using the truck key isn't really an option since my truck is "keyless".

My truck is keyless as well, but it has a key inside the FOB and has a full key for the console and glove box. I use the full key.
