Lol, so much ignorance in this posts. Could have started selling them to whom???? The average forum dweller that that thinks everything is $15 and wants free shipping. Good enough? lol I have forgotten more ideas that were "good enough" than you perhaps have ever had. Its not worth waiting for. Not even good enough....Ever thought perhaps I may be in talks with manufacturing....you know, because again the average forum dweller? Maybe when you do see them FS on a large retailer's site you can decide for yourself THEN if they are good enough....you know, with all those extra fees and taxes etc. Pathetic. What's happening with this thread? I have followed it just to see when there may be something on the market that meets this need. I am not a huge fan of the black aluminum replacement doors. I just wish Ford would make/sell the locking plug again. Seemed easy enough. I guess not enough people concerned with vandalism?

Speaking on staying on topic, what’s the best locking cap out there? I saw someone refer to on as being chintzy, I don’t like the sound of that. I see the “good” ones are well over $100... are any of them worth it? Should I just make my own?

There is no locking gas cap out there for the 2015+ F150's

To all those that have asked about a locking gas filler plug, another member posted Ford accessory BU5Z-9C268-A shows it should fit the 2015+ F-150.
