Locking gas cap?
 

Here's a dumb question but one that is significant to me because someone once vandalized my vehicle by putting stuff in my gas. I now have a cheapo locking gas cap : ) A very expensive lesson....

Anyway, is the fuel door a locking one? I thing I noticed somewhere that the new F-150 has some kind of capless fuel port. So I'm hoping there is someway to secure it!

Just FYI that one doesn't say it is compatible with the 2015 F150.

The above part number fuel plug will fit the 2015 F150 as well as several other Ford models.

All the late model Ford vehicles are the same ...

As of the time I write this I can personally vouch for there being NO locking fuel caps for the 2015 F150.

The new ez fuel cap is a different shape than the previous years. It is a round cap vice a trapezoidal shape. I already went through this issue with 2 separate caps. One from a Ford dealership and from an aftermarket company.

Wow, that's strange. I wonder why the @#$% they would do that?

That sucks. I just ordered one from Amazon. I will let you know if it works.

I have a feeling we ordered the same one from Amazon. I took it into the dealership and they showed me the one they had in stock that "says" it works for the 2015 and both work on numerous models of 2014 Ford vehicles but will not work on the 2015s. Different shape on the underside of the plug.

Does anyone have an update on a locking gas cap that might work on the new 2015 F150? Thanks!
