Limited steering wheel upgrade

Yes, it is interchangeable. Once the airbag is popped off you just disconnect the harnesses and give the trim some gentle pulls along the edges and it will pull out. I swapped over the trim in mine as the Limited has adaptive cruise and the dark titanium trim, and my Lariat has the painted plastic and no adaptive cruise.

I put my limited steering wheel on today, feels really nice. A couple pointers for anyone that will be doing this. When you insert the object in the holes on the side for the airbag you are pressing on a thin spring rod that moves around a cast catch on the wheel. Also, you will need a 15/16" 6 point socket to remove the bolt.
Now I need to find someone that wants my Platinum wheel which is probably not going to be easy

I plan on hanging on to my 502a wheel so that when I trade trucks in a few years I can reinstall it and retain my Limited wheel for the new truck. If they have changed designs by then it will be good swap meet material in about 25 years.

Just arrived today. Going on the truck next week. It will be nice to have a real leather wheel. The stitching will look good with the Camel interior even though it's a little darker. I'm debating whether to leave the dark trim piece on. It's almost so dark that it blends in with the wheel, but, it doesn't match any of the other silver plastic pieces. I've actually been thinking about replacing some of those as well.

I went the way of painting the chrome plastic on the other pieces. Replacing all the dash panels gets expensive quick. By last count its around 300 to replace 6 panels (4 dash vents, the IPC panel on top and... something else I'm missing)
