Default Limited Bumper and Roush Active Exhaust Install

Hello Everyone!
Just posting for some information for anyone else who is thinking of this modification.
I know there is a Limited Bumper thread currently, But I have done it with a Roush active exhaust and over axle pipes ( not available from Roush)
I have a 2018 F150 5.0 6,5" BOX Platinum in Tricoat white.
All prices are in CDN dollars and are rounded
Purchased from my Local Ford Dealer (duty and taxes paid on the Roush items)
Limited Bumpers- $225.00 ( for both)
Exhaust Hanger bracket 5260 D ( ford raptor of Limited 2019 part number) $48.00
Exhaust Hanger bracket 5260 C ( ford raptor of Limited 2019 part number) $49.00
Exhaust Hanger bracket 5260 A $34.00 ( one comes on the OEM exhaust, but two are required)
Various Nuts and bolts- $27.00
Raptor Rear wiring harness ( required to extend the outside park sensors) $68.00
ROUSH PARTS-
1117-5246S- Y pipe $194.00
1117-5230-2 Muffler $387.00
1117-aexhwt-2 Hardware Kit $58.99
1118-9L430-S Wiring kit $168.00
1315-6505RH-2 Active Valve $527.99

PURCHASED FROM INDEPENDENT MBRP RETAILER
FULL MBRP stainless exhaust for ford Raptor
S5264409- $750.00 ( cheaper to buy the whole kit, than just the pieces I needed... and still cheaper than the OEM ford pieces.. also better quality stainless)

PAINT SHOP-
$200.00 cash to paint
match the bumpers.

TOTAL BILL AT EXHAUST SHOP
$250.00

The Installation went as followed.
Removal of bumpers, removal of the wiring harness. Reinstallation of bumpers and new Raptor wiring hardness ( two zip ties for the wiring harness to keep wires out of the way of the tips)
3-hour job done in my shop.

Truck delivered to local exhaust shop- Carline Automotive in Alliston
Installation of OEM exhaust brackets with OEM hardware. Ford Raptor over axle system is a direct install which installed perfectly, and is a beautiful system! ( which is why i bought this)
The remainder of the exhaust system I will just sell on our local adds for a hundred buck( muffler and a couple of other pieces)
Roush Items.
The Roush muffler is a plug and play and bolt in if I was using the original Roush over axle pipes.
The Roush muffler has one tailpipe exit of 2,1/4" exit and the "loud" pipe is 3.5" exit.. So my exhaust guy ended up cutting off the Roush tailpipes that were originally welded to the muffler, and directly welding the MBRP pipes in place ( both 3.5" )
on top of that. the Roush muffler was 7" too long for the over the axle MBRP system ( as it was designed for a short muffler and an EcoBoost) So we removed an extra 7" from before the muffler ( between the resonator and the Active Valve) and flipped the OEM muffler mounts around and it gave us the perfect room we needed.
The Active Exhaust was left for me to wire in, Which I will be doing, and having a wireless controller that connects to my HOMELINK, so I do not have to drill holes in my truck..And I can operate it from the two buttons on my visor.

TOTAL COST= $2986.98 ( And well see how much I can sell the leftover MBRP items for)
The outcome is A OEM quality installation with perfect fitting MBRP exhaust made from High-Quality Stainless. and an Active Roush system to delivery whisper quiet cruising and then Loud Mustang refined tones!

I will make a write up shortly as I will be building a circuit to link into my throttle pedal to control the valve, so cruising it will be shut and the further I depress the peddle it will open up.
See attached pictures.

Bumper removed and this is the time to remove the OEM wiring harness

New Bumper installed. I did not have to buy any extra brackets to attach them.

these are 5" black tips from MBRP they fill the OEM openings very well!

MBRP stainless overaxle pipes and tailpipes, these are mounted on OEM raptor exhaust hangers bought from FORD

Roush Active Exhaust installed and pushed 7" more forward from where Roush specifies the installation due to connecting with the MBRP overaxle pipes

close up of the exhaust brackets that were flipped around from the OEM location.

all MBRP pipes have stainless band clamps. and surprisingly as identical to the ones Roush Supplied ones.

Looks awesome man, question though aren't the tips too close to the bumper for exhaust movement and whatnot?

They use the OEM ford hangers which are very stiff, and being connected all the way up to the front, there is Little movement. If you were to grab a tip and try and move it, it would be very difficult as they are very stiff. I don’t have a concern about them hitting the bumper!
