Talking Licence Plate lights upgraded to LED (and showing off custom plates)

I replaced the stock bulbs on my 2015 Lariat with some LEDs off Amazon tonight. For some reason Ford decided to give the whole truck a beautiful set of LEDs in every corner except for the license plate illumination.

$6 on Amazon for a pack of 8 bulbs (excessive, but its only $6 so who cares).
Amazon.com: Cutequeen 8PCS LED Car Lights Bulb White T10 3528 4-SMD 194 168 (pack of 8): Automotive Amazon.com: Cutequeen 8PCS LED Car Lights Bulb White T10 3528 4-SMD 194 168 (pack of 8): Automotive

Before & After.. Also my first time showing off the custom plates and hitch cover combo on the thread. Pretty excited.

Stock bulbs on Left, New LED on right

Both new LEDs

Good point. Those are pretty bad actually. Also the stupid always-on light in the little USB/SD compartment down by the shifter. I'll research replacements and get on it!

It's led, as well as in the center console. It's a small SMD and a pain in th e *** to get out just to realize it's already led

speaking of the light in the center console do you know if it stays on all the time. I noticed last night mine does, you can see it through the little half circle on the left or right.

That light goes off if you close the slider.

On the license lights, incredibly easy. Just lay under the end of your truck and you'll see the back part of the light assembly. Simply give a quarter turn and a light tug and it comes right out. To get the mini bulb out used a tiny flathead to kinda pry it out because I was afraid of squeezing too hard and breaking it

Thanks for sharing this info. They look great and seem to be a nice finishing touch for the truck!
