I did not go with the springs. It's tough to say whether they would be a good idea or not. I noticed a big ride difference with just the shocks/struts.
I finally put my order in last week. I ended up going with:
- Bilsteins 5100 front
- Eibach pro lift front spring
- Fox 2.0 rear
- Halo lifts 2.25” rear block (might have to adjust that +/- after other stuff is in)
I cannot wait to get everything on and see how much different/better my truck is going to handle. I’ll still be running stock Hankook tires for now, which will look a little silly but the boss said pump the brakes on $1500 worth of tires !
I hope someone can answer this so I don't have to start another thread, but I have a question about the level kit I bought and the tires that I'm switching to. I have an AS 1.5" leveling kit and I've ordered 275/65/20 KO2s for my '16 XLT SCrew. This is a 34" tire, so am I going to have rubbing issues? I bought the AS kit back in May of 2016 when I bought the truck, but I have yet to put it on because of the expense of the new tires. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the tires because I need tires with off-road capability. I also bought a pair of Bilstein 5100 shocks for the rear to replace the crappy factory shocks.
I had planned on leaving a little of the rake, but I don't haul heavy loads. Should I get the 2" AS kit instead?

There have been other members on here that ran 275/65r20 stock until they got their levels done without issues. I assume a 1.5 level would be fine. My current plan is to got with the bilstein 5100 set at 1.76 with 34 inch tires when I upgrade. I need the take since I tow a pop up and fill the bed when we go.

Thanks! I'm going to stick with the 1.5" kit for now. After all, its been sitting under the back seat of my truck for over a year and a half.
I'm thinking about getting a 2.5 level from Pro Comp installed on my 2016 King Ranch . Does anyone have any experience with this setup ? Also I have a Ranch Hand grill guard and a Topper that lowers the truck slightly .So I'm not sure what to expect when level is installed . I plan on changing shocks and slightly larger tires in 20 - 30,000 more miles . I plan on using 4 Wheel Parts to do install.
I installed a Rough Country 2" kit on my 2013 XLT 4x4 today. Quite pleased with it. No notable difference in ride and pretty close to level with just about 39" from ground to fender all around. Tried to get the same angle and distance on the before and after pics, but didn't get an exact match. Oh well..
Hey guys great looking trucks. I definitely want to go the same route with a 2" RC level. I see there are two on the website. The billet aluminum one and one that is made from heavy-duty proprietary composite. The composite one is half the price of the billet aluminum one. Has anyone here installed the composite one? Just wanted to see if there were any cons to using it. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
