Aw man I'd be frustrated. I think I'm just gonna roll with Rancho. The cost savings could go towards painting my grill and mirror caps, replacing my windshield for the second time in 6 months, buying my deer rifle, or just save it.

Lonegun did Rancho Brand last year, his truck was inspirational to sorta go that way, as far as stance.

My inspiration is coming from a buddy that has a '16 XLT. He's got a puck level right now, but is debating grabbing quicklifts and RS-9000XL's for his. He's running 20x10 -19 Hostile Alphas in black with 33x12.5 Ridge Grapplers. I'm planning 20x10 -19 Hostile Gauntlets in chrome with the same tires. Minor spreading of the crash bars and good to go.

stupid question i know but i want to be sure im not missing anything.

http://www.stage3motorsports.com/09F...Shock-Kit.html

Instead of going the cheap route and using spacers do i need anything else if i'm using the shocks above to level my truck?

You're not going to need anything else. However, this setup will require you to rent a spring compressor as you will have to compress your stock coil springs, take the strut apart, and put your stock coil spring on the new struts. If this sounds more involved than you want, the Rancho Quicklifts come preassembled, and the RS-9000XL shocks are nice (at least on my '07 when I had it). Rancho is currently running a rebate on the set of Quicklifts and RS-9000XLs.

Generally with puck spacers you will wind up with at least as much height as advertised and generally more due to the geometry of the front end.

Before/After:

Before level kit with stock 265-60-18 tires

After level kit with 295-70-18 Nitto TG's

Noob question. Pucks aren't great for geometry. Are coil overs better than pucks? Is there an option that is better from a geometry point of view?
