Default Leveling/Bigger tires on SCREW FX4

The only forums I've seen on here for leveling are with 20 inch rims. What about the stock 18s? What should I be guaranteed to clear without rubbing on crash bars? I was looking at a 295/75/18 which is a 34.3x11.6 but not sure if they'll rub or not. Also, what leveling kits did you use? Pictures would be nice too. Thanks.

im new to researching the specs on leveling/lifting Fords but the rim size doesn't really matter. it's all about your overall diameter/width with the tires on. and the OFFSET of the wheel. the diameter of the wheel doesn't change anything except the price of the wheels/tires

Your lucky to have 18 in wheels. You have way more choices in tires...

Next time I buy a truck I will make sure it don't have 20 in wheels. Kinda hard to find a Lariat or above without them.

Haha and I wish I had 20's. If you were in Miami and wanted my wheels I'd probably swap

I wish I had 20s just because of all the extra tire sizes and options. The size I would run if I had 20s would be a 275/65/20 (34.1x11) which is a very common tire size so there is many options and the prices are better. The 18" wheel that is close to that size is a 295/70/18 or a 285/75/18 and there is only about 4 available tires in those sizes. So I would love to have a 20 inch wheel!!

We run 33x1250x18s on stock wheels and have not rubbed at all. We have run a 2 inch auto spring leveling, a fox leveling kit, an icon kit with a 3 inch rear block and now a boss coil over kit with a 3 inch rear block. We have some really good suspension go pro video on our you tube page where you can see how much clearance we have. Here is a pic of the boss kit with the 3 inch block.

Sort of off topic but, how would you compare the Icon kit too the Boss kit?

I am having Icon stage 2 installed thursday is why I ask. I will also be putting on 295/60-20 Toyo At2 tires also which are similar in size to what OP asked about for fitment. Hopefully it will fit

We will have our boss review video out soon. If you have an icon kit I would stick with that. We were very happy with the boss kit also.
