Default To Level or Lift....

I'm looking to get a little more clearance in my 2016 F150 XLT for bigger rim and tires. Right now I will probably be sticking with 20 rims and either 33'' or 34'' tire (haven't really decided on those options yet). I really like the stock offset look my truck has right now with the rear looking a little bit raised up than the front. I've read that I will lose that with a leveling kit also that the ride won't be as nice as it would be with a suspension lift. I'm leaning more towards the lift right now knowing that it will be much more expensive than the level, but will only be going 3''-4''. This is my first truck so I'm new to everything. Any input or suggestions would be welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!

There is a lot of information about various options available here. For what its worth, you may want to consider upgrading the fronts with coilovers and adding new rear shocks. I am waiting to get my Fox coilovers and Fox 2.0 rear shocks installed next Thursday along with 275/65/20 BFG's. That should put the truck close to level and allow me to run the roughly 34 inch tires without causing any issues.

if you are sticking with a 33 or 34 tire, I would just level. putting a lift on, would require 35" tires.(in my opinion)

Fox Coilovers 2" level & 35x12.5 tires

Go with 35" tires. No problems with just a level & they look great!

I've read nothing but good things about those fox coilovers, not only about their look, people have also said it dramatically changes the comfort of their ride. Did you just go with the front coilovers on yours?

Just my opinion. I like the the idea of both and of course what your pocket book will afford. I did both, started with the Icon set up with BFG KO2's. Now I am on 35 Nitto Ridge Grapplers with ProComp Stage 2.

So far, I like the look and ride with my ProComp setup.

More Day pics to follow.

Boss Coilovers and call it done. If you end up wanting to go with a full lift, you can still use those coilovers to give yourself a better ride.

No I bought the whole kit front & back from Stage3motosports when it was 20% off.
