Magnetic Mount?
Do these work well when placed inside a phone case?
Does the magnetic mess anything up with GPS or phone settings.
I have factory Nav, but do use my phone a lot because its so quick and easy.

Love this mount, it's in my new F150. I have nav and all the bells and whistles, but when your mom or wife face times you it's hard for them to see you in your pocket.

I've tried everything. This is the best I've used.

The good thing about this one is that you can change the parts as well in the front and it is strong enough to hold an iPad which if one has an iPad Pro has the perfect screen and speakers for using navigation. Aside from that one can also change adapters to use with Go Pro. This can also then be mounted on moonroof/Sunroof to be attached to GoPro for offroad action.

I use the small vent magnet mount others have mentioned here, works great for me. I also use a Ram mount setup for an iPad mini, mostly for off road GPS nav and road trip music, podcasts, etc. I also ran two power cords from the covered compartment, behind the dash, and stubbed out into the dash tray so I don't have wires dangling all over the place, can use the iPad without needing bluetooth.
