Are there are aftermarket options that aren't the 'Rock Star'-type look with silver bits/bolts/trim on them? I'm going to go with all black wheels and just trying to decide between factory and aftermarket options, and I just don't like the gaudy-looking ones that seem to constitute 90% of the market on black truck wheels these days.

Look on here http://www.fueloffroad.com/wheels.cfm?id=1297 and here http://www.kmcwheels.com/wheels.cfm?id=4569

Probably the most popular brands out there with lots of options. Some gaudy and some not so much. Theres also a lot more options if you were to go onto rimzoneonline.com and look.

Love these wheels, but I have yet to see them offered by ford.

Do you plan on doing anything to protect them so they don't chip or do you think they'll hold up ok long term?

Time will tell. I had them bead blasted and then sprayed them with an epoxy paint. If they do chip I will probably just order some aftermarket wheels. These were free so worth a shot.

Those look more like Fuel Coupler than Octanes.

Great post. Has anyone taken their stock Lariat Sport wheels (6 spoke) and added all-terrain tires to them? I see the pic of the red truck, but I am not 100% certain those are the stock wheels...they look black, whereas mine are a off-chrome/graphite color. I'm trying to decide if I want to buy Fuel or save my cash and just throw all-terrain on the stock's. I guess they would look a lot like they do on that red truck, but I'd still be curious if anyone has done it...
