Seems easy enough, just takes a little time, pretty cool process.

Just another question. When it was completely dry, did you have any trouble getting it back on the tail pipe. I took mine off the other day to see how easy it was to take off and put on. Getting it back on was tight. I do not want to damage the finish when re-installing it. Do you have any tips about re-installing it?

My Underedge bed cover is peeling and the Chrome is showing on the hinges. Would Plastidip be a good paint to cover the whole cover with? I would mask the rubber parts of course.

What I did was just sand down the exhaust pipe a little with 2000 grit. Didn't sand enough to take off the galvanizing but enough to take off the crap that was on there. Then I just grabbed it from the clamp end and wiggled it on. I worried about the same thing when I was doing it.

Anyone know how to remove the chrome trim pieces surronding the air/AC vents? Wanted to plasti-dip them to cut down on the reflective glare.

Tried gently to pull one off, but it felt like it was going to crack....

There is a video on youtube of a guy wrapping the vents...can't remember if he removed the chrome but here's the link:

Just watched, at 0:40 you see the chrome off...he may have melted the glue to remove them though...not sure.

I can take the picture, but it has been a while, since I tried to put one on the forum. But I will try to remember to do it today.
