I got a check for $ 21,194.79 for my 2015 that was totaled 130,000 miles. Stripped it all the way down when the insurance company was giving low ball prices for the upgrades. Wheels, tires, (gave them steels), battery, hood prop rods, jack, wrench, bed cover, bedrug, solid lug nuts, wipers, extra keys (had 5 they got 2), will recut new blanks and reuse transmitters on other trucks I have. Got nothing for the destroyed snowplow mount, nothing for Fox shocks. I would have pulled those but too much work. Was going to get another silver one so I could reuse my cover, but Leadfoot Roush caught my eye so I grabbed it. In Illinois you may not buy back your totaled vehicle if it is less than 9 years old. I would have bought it and fixed it if I could. Only bent the front tips of the frame and radiator support. Would have tried to pull it back instead of a new frame and see what would have happened if not for the Illinois rule. I really liked my silver and I don't see very many around. My dealer usually only stocks one at a time.

I am looking at doing exactly this! How did you end up dealing with the plastic pieces behind the rear fenders that go all the way to the wheel well on the XLT? Also did you do the tape method or did you drill holes?

Your rig looks great!
