2017 XL 2WD, 2.7EB, 6speed, 3.73EL gears, 101A package, just got home from picking it up last Aug.

13 months latter, after adding, Decked Storage, Pypes SS 4inch catback, XD Pulley300 black wheels, Supernova LED headlamp bulbs, body matching painted headlamp trim, GTX Tuner with caned and custom tunes, Black Flares (takeoffs from local dealer), Icon Stage 1 suspension set as low as practical, and a bunch of home tweaks.

Next step a set of tires, maybe Nitto Terra Grappler G2 265/70R17 115T. Also looking into tinted trim badging. Not very dramatic, more a sleeper "old guy's truck". KM

Just above the licence plate area, the bumper step pad goes at about 90 degrees towards the bed for about an inch. I cut off that inch of plastic so I could recess part of the light bar behind the licence plate, so the bottom of the rectangular lights sits flush with what remains of the bumper step pad. I still had to shave a little bit off the top of the light bar so the tailgate would clear when it opens.

You could use nuts and bolts and/or brackets to secure it there, but I used PL construction glue. It doesn't look really pretty behind that licence plate, but nothing is visible from the back of the truck.

Light bar part number: HC3Z-13A613-C
Pigtail part number: 8U2Z-14S411-AAC

I tapped the two wires to the licence plate light wires that go to the passenger side of the bumper step pad.
