I'm sorry to inform you I'm 99% sure your issue is a windshield leak. Very common. It could also be a moonroof one (loose drain pipes), but you don't have one, hence my guess. I was appalled to see the big holes at the upper corners of the windshield (stand on your door sill and look at the driver's upper corner of the windshield looking down). I bet if you pour water in there, you'd immediately see it inside your car, to prove the leak to a dealer. Just don't pour too much, but that would tell you if I'm right or wrong. It could be from either (or both) corners, but seems your car is only from the driver's side. Many owners have it, but they thought was the moonroof. Only recently an owner found it was the windshield by doing the test I told you. Sorry for the bad news, but if you're affected, at least you know how to fix it. You'd need severe wind-driven rain to get water thru the door seals, even if they're not precisely aligned, since they're triple sealed. But yeah, I understand there wasn't any other logical explanation, so you had to go down that rabbit hole. Ha ha. Hope this helps man. Please keep us posted.
