They approved my buyback Still weighing options on how I want to proceed. A lot depends on if it is fixed for good.

THEJET, I would go in and drive it myself to verify that that has improved it before wasting more time on something that doesn't fix the problem. Good luck.

I’m actually going in tomorrow to test drive it.

I’ve learned already that any communication cycle so far takes about a week.
Meanwhile, I drive THEIR car.

Well what do you know? I emailed my regional manager and she actually just called me. I briefly updated her and we left it for a follow up on the 11th to give dealership time for repair and my test drive. If no fix I’m done and going forward with buyback request. It’s been in for 13 more days so far than when I last requested a buyback. So I’m well within my states lemon law. I can’t even see them arguing that now

Regional manager called me today asking to bring my truck in on Thursday so they could swap out my rims. Funny thing is my truck Never left the dealership. So she called back to confirm. At this point it’s sadly comical. So Thursday I get to test drive it for the umpteenth time to see if it’s fixed. I explained to the regional manager that I want to move forward with the buyback request. She insisted I test drive it on Thursday to see my feelings on the fix. So I told her, my feelings don’t matter at this point and I want to move on. I explained to the regional manager that I want to move forward with the buyback request no matter the results. She insisted I test drive it on Thursday to see my feelings on the fix. So I told her my feelings don’t matter at this point and I want to move on fixed or not. The truck has been out of my possession well over 50 days. Probably closer to 60. Of course she said I cannot guarantee a buyback. I will be contacting my AG if I get denied again.

Have you ever sent Ford a registered letter explaining what has transpired and that you are seeking a buy back?
