Here is what 30" Single Row light bars look like in sport style grill. This is not a bolt in kit, it requires cutting your factory grill, and behind where the ford emblem is as well. We managed to get it bolted in with the factory mounts that come with the led light bars. But would be easy as well to custom bend some sheet metal brackets. My truck is xlt, so i purchased a sport grill and had it color matched to my truck.

So i guess this can be done, you are the only one I have found who has done this. Looking to do the same (or at very similar I should say). Looks good.

In general wiring them is not difficult, I should soon find out how difficult it will be due to limited working space.

Depends on what you're wiring it to. Generally a power wire to a switch then to a relay (that has a dedicated 12v from the battery) then to the light bar.
Not difficult but I have a friend that I have shown how to do this what seems to be a thousand times and he cannot get the idea of how the relay works. Really annoys me!!
