Hmm not sure then. What did the vendor you are working with say? They should be working with you to fix it, especially if it's not working.

Why cant you make your own harness for the lights? why the need for this retrofit harness?

This harness he speaks of is to make the OEM led headlights work on trucks that came with halogen headlights. These headlights came on the upper trim F150s or added as an option. You can build your own if you are capable. Just certain members are having issues with $300USD wires, can you believe it? $300 wires

I understand why guys use it.I was just wondering is it needed ?we make our own for the tail lights so couldnt we just wire the headlights the same?

You sure can, you just need to figure out what kind of wires/adapters you need. As well as any resistors/etc...
