Thanks for contacting us today! We are now hoping to get them released sometime this summer; our GM is just wanting to make sure everything is perfect before that release! Once these bulbs are released, they will be available on our website for purchase; sorry for the delay! If there is anything else we can assist you with in the meantime, please let us know!

But, in the meantime, I'm still very happy with these bulbs, and it seems every else is as well, so it's all good

I have suspicions that it's much more than "everything being perfect". I mean, they were well into testing and pretty much done. Last I heard they were waiting on production to build stock, which means the specs were done. They were doing some crazy tests on them back in December and even mentioned they lit one on fire while it was on. I'm thinking it's a production problem, and not making sure everything is perfect...

Yeah...Wish they would just man-up & tell us what's really going on-->

Coming from a 2015 Lariat 502A to my 2017 XLT 302A, the lightning leaves quite a bit to be desired. I have been on the fence on wether to spend the money on OEM LED fronts and risk the harness issues, or try LED replacement bulbs. From the pics on here the light appears to be really good with a nice cutoff. It doesn't look so scattered like others I've seen in the past.
I decided to go this route after reading this entire thread. I am also going to replace the front marker light and turn signal bulb while I have the housings out. I went with the Sinoparcel 9005 and H11s to do the high and low beams. I used the Sirius 9005 LEDs for my fogs in my 15 Lariat and they worked well so I am going to go ahead and use them again.
For the turn signals, I realize I will need the resistors or to use Forscan. I think I am going to go with the resistors for now. There are several options. Does anyone know the correct one for front and rear turn signals? 50 watt 6ohm seems to be the most common.
I have LED bulbs on order to replace all external factory halogens. I will add pics once they are all here and installed.

Installed my SE housings and sinoparcels today. The color change from halogen is dramatic, and the pattern is pretty good. Will use these for a while and wait to see what DD's look like if they're ever released...

Now I'm debating which route to go for high beams, whether OPT7 or other brands would be more suitable for highs since I don't care for scattered light since is a high beam or still go sinoparcel.

The ones you are talking about, that are sold here are not made for halogen housing, will scatter light just like OPT7 and such LED bulbs out there. I had OPT7 and very very happy I went this route, nice and clean cut off, only bad thing is that there are dark spots on the road ahead, you can see clearly on the member photos posted here. The OPT7 I had would light up the road evenly but the scattered light was insane, all in all I am glad I went this route.

On the contrary... our ClaraLux bulbs do not scatter light which is why they are so popular with the Ford trucks (especially the 2015+ which has a really poor light output from the factory). Everybody who's tried them has reported the same as well... no light scatter. They have the same light output as your factory bulbs (only brighter).
OPT7 are not TERRIBLE as we did a "shoot out" between them in Anzo Projector housings. But for the money they were lacking quality in the bulb design and light output. I think OPT7 would be better with a price point around $50 based on the quality we saw. Very plasticy feeling.
Right now there is no true plug and play solution for the 2015+ trucks because of how the housing is made. If you put a bulb in that does not require a driver then you the amount of lumen/lux you get will be about the same as the halogens, only a purer white light (and at that lumen/lux a pure white light is worse for you then your ugly yellowish bulbs).
If you want a lot of light output, you need to install a driver, which generates heat and requires a bit of "modding" to make work (which is why we put together a little "kit" to help folks do just this).
We have a new bulb unlike anything anybody has seen before coming out soon. It's not a small bulb by any means and puts out about 4,000 raw lumen per bulb so yes... less then our XHP kits. BUT they'll fit in the 2015+ housings without needing to buy larger boots/etc... (it's not small because it has a lot of cool technology/high quality boards inside it that take up room in the bulb housing)... fin-based cooling as well using really pricey copper all around the entire bulb to help shed that heat

Yeah that's the main topic of this thread is the standard halogen style housings that come stock with the truck. The anzo thread is dedicated to "Projection" style conversations (mainly Anzos of course). But with the halogen housings the big controversy has always been installation of HID/LED bulbs into them. In the old days with the earlier HID/LED kits it was a HUGE no no... but now adays a LOT of the LED kits you buy on the market work pretty well with the halogen-style housings. Even some of the HID kits work pretty well.
It's all about finding a bulb in your price point from a company who can support you. LOTS of options online. LOTS of no-name brands online that sell similar bulbs.
We love when folks support us because we support our customers, but at the same time realize not everybody can afford higher priced items so there are lots of options out there.
You can find no-name OPT7 bulbs and no-name ClaraLux bulbs and on and on all over the internet. You order direct from overseas as well if you want to wait a few weeks and risk no-warranty.
In the end it's about what you can afford and what you are seeking. Hopefully a lot of folks learned a lot in this thread and other threads online.
The common thing I see is that folks buy cheap LED bulbs and get a "bad taste" in their mouth and never want to try LED again. I've convinced a LOT Of folks who were anti-LED or anti-HID to be on the LED bandwagon now after trying quality lights. We're not the only guys in town who sell the style lights we sell... which is why a lot of us sell this style LED... it works really well. OF COURSE the downside as I said is heat... the drivers generate a lot of heat because they are maxing that little LED diode out to the fullest to deliver the most light you can possible get out of an LED... but the only other option is less light output and at that point upgrading isn't worth it at all if you're not getting much for your money.
I personally love a bright light that I can control (lows/highs). Lows aimed low enough so I don't risk blinding anybody with all that added light... and then my high beams which light up everything on the backwoods.
